Jennifer grew up in Leeds and has always been local to the area. She joined Newstead and Walker in 2024, having previously worked in city law firms.
Jennifer qualified as a Solicitor in 2019 and became an accredited member of The Law Society Children Panel in February 2022.
Jennifer has a background in dealing with child arrangements and child protection work, including where the local authority become involved with children and families due to a range of concerns such as neglect, abuse, non-accidental injuries and fabricated and induced illness.
Jennifer is very experienced in conducting her own advocacy and has represented her clients at court from County Court to High Court level.
Jennifer has always been passionate about family law. She understands that her clients are often going through a difficult and distressing time and find themselves in situations that they had not expected to experience, where emotions are often heightened.
Jennifer has a calm, clear and straightforward approach. She puts clients at ease whilst using her legal knowledge to put forward their strongest possible case and advises on all areas of family law.
